7:00–9:00 AM: Diani Beach to Fort Jesus
Begin your day with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach. Travel towards Mombasa, crossing the Likoni Channel before continuing to Fort Jesus. Enjoy the journey through the changing coastal scenery and arrive in Mombasa ready to explore the city’s historic heart.
9:00–11:00 AM: Fort Jesus & Mombasa Old Town
Explore Fort Jesus, one of Mombasa’s most important historic landmarks. Discover its old walls, courtyards and museum collections while learning about the history of the Swahili Coast. Afterwards, take a short walk through Mombasa Old Town, with its narrow streets, historic buildings, carved doors and bustling local atmosphere.
11:00 AM–12:00 PM: Mombasa Tusks
Continue to the famous Mombasa Tusks, one of the city’s best-known landmarks. Stop for photographs and learn about the significance of the aluminium tusks, which stand prominently along Moi Avenue in the centre of Mombasa.
12:00–2:00 PM: Akamba Handicraft & Lunch
